"I’ve always performed—for as far back as I can remember," says Alecia. "I used to put on musical shows, improvised plays and lip-synching concerts with my brother and my cousins. Then that evolved into more public forms of performance: musicals, plays, recitals, oratorios, operas. Getting into film was really kind of a fluke.

In Spring 2003, Alecia starred in Time Heals All Wounds, which was released as a part of the Mindscape Pictures production Bent: Volume 2. In December 2005, she played Jenn Randall and wrapped shooting on TV pilot The Six Fifty-Seven. Last year, she worked on studio feature film The Departed, which is directed by Martin Scorsese and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson. Alecia also worked on Hallmark TV movie Meet the Santas, starring Steve Guttenberg and Crystal Bernard. Among other projects, she has been seen in indie films like Here Comes Your Man, Death for Sale and The Sea.

In less than two years Alyssa Hale went from being a no-name with a Polaroid to an established actress scoring leading roles in countless local films and booking commercial work on her first try. She has had the great fortune of studying with incredible local teachers such as Carolyn Pickman and Bates Wilder. She maintains a relationship with several New England casting and management agencies with bigger markets in her sight for the future.

Versatile, smart, funny, slightly sarcastic, warm, witty, ambitious, athletic and very good at typing in the third person ... Alyssa Hale is one to watch!
