Film-makers
Emre Şafak (director, cinematographer, editor) decided to learn film-making several years ago after realizing that photography, while very fulfilling, would not allow him to reach a wider audience or express extended ideas.
His formative period was spent studying the works of the celebrated Magnum agency. As a consequence, he has adopted a candid approach, which has translated into a taste for naturalistic film-making. His plan for the near future is to learn how to write in preparation for a feature film.Mr. Şafak is currently a graduate student at Northeastern University. He likes good music (he makes a rule of singing along) and great cooking (especially since he can't for the life of him put on weight).

Mark Fullmer (screenwriter) received his B.A. in music from USC. After graduation, he shipped to Oxford where, as he puts it, he “snuck into a few University classes, frequented all the pubs, read a lot, wrote a little, and picked up a good snooty Oxford accent.”
Mark returned to the U.S. in 2003 to do graduate work at Boston College, which he completed in 2006. During his stay in Boston, he taught first-year writing at B.C. and was managing editor for the literary journal New Comm Ave.
Mark likes swimming, long walks along the beach, doing laundry (particularly ironing), Russia, metal detectors, and movies that make you cry.
