Screening, Signings & Snapshots

Posted on February 19th, 2006 in Miscellanies, TFII by Mark

Yesterday afternoon: our cast & crew gala screening of That’s Funny, Isn’t It? Wow.

What with the film being only 18 minutes, our reception lasted about six times as long as the screening. But after all, there was plenty to talk about. Our composer, Koray Sazli, got more than one round of praise (even though yesterday’s cut wasn’t the final musical score). Sharon Leckie (Grace) and Darren Kersey (Chuck) shimmered in that spotlight that actors always somehow seem to magically grab, and they had their hands full signing posters and complimentary DVDs. Woe to those who didn’t come, missing this chance to snatch up autographed memorabilia that undoubtedly will be worth big bucks imminently.

Emre had a chance to get some test audience feedback, and is eager to squirrel himself away, once again, in the editing room, for yet another cut (Oh, the sacrifices of those cursed with the artistic vision!).

And what would a gala be without a rowdy photo-op? Here are some pictures by Eugene to whet the appetite:

How could I go about getting a copy of That’s funny, isn’t it? (UK)

You can watch it online for free, or order the DVD. Obviously, the DVD will be of higher quality, but might not play in the UK because it is NTSC, not PAL. Please check your DVD player to see if it is compatible with NTSC before ordering! In any case, send me an email for details.
